JDM M5---Purists beware!!!!!!!!!

I've been to E-shift before...and they're throwing 2JZ's into everything. Their swaps are SO CLEAN it's amazing!! They had a 4-door E36 with a 2JZ swap that looked completely factory! There was another E39 there getting a swap too.

Nope. The 6765 is supposed to spool up really quickly. In fact, when it is all said and done we will probably be maxing it out.
Depends on how crazy you want to get with it. I believe they can do standard single turbo swaps making ~500-550whp for $12k or so (price is after you sell your s62/transmission).
Awesome, man, thanks much for sharing! That stock looking e36 4 door that you saw made 540whp. Talking about sleeper. lol They really are a great bunch of guys who are passionate about what they are doing. Can't wait for them to finish my car!

Anyone know where I can get a nice 2002 or 2003 E39 M5? I prefer Lemans blue over black and sports trim.

Tuning and Dyno time! Thanks to Justin Nenni from Tuning Concepts for trickling 585whp on pump gas and 762whp on e85 out of this car. Here are a couple of vids from during the session.

Also, a lot of people have expressed their disapproval of doing this swap with an M5. I bought a modded M5 and was able to part of the mods and motor and transmission and have basically no cost left into the car. Plus, I then have the M interior, suspension, diff, etc without having to pay out of pocket to add those to a base model 5 series. To me, it really is a no brainer to use the M5 for this type of swap, especially with the current state of resale prices.
