The new 5 series is tight. That's going to be a great motor to play around with, I bet.

So as far as I have found, no one is yet offering a decent tune or upgrades for decent pricing.

Someone please update this thread if you run across something.

We have the Dinan software on our 335i and it completely transformed the car. Recently one of the turbos seized which has been happening more and more commonly to these cars, and it would have been thousands to repair if not covered.
Like someone else mentioned, you do NOT retaing your warranty with a Dinan tune. It's suppose to be a Dinan warranty, BUT it can get very messy. You were lucky your dealer was willing to bill BMW for it because there have been other's who wouldn't do it and Dinan would say it's a bad turbo, or waste gate and refused to cover it too.

If we had went with one of the aftermarket tuners that make slightly more power such as Burger, Vishnu, etc, we would have been screwed; or at least had to run around like mad men trying to put it all back to stock and hoping no codes came up. Dinan is peace of mind. I'd be damned if we got stuck with the bill due to a part that the actual dealer installed.

Fantasma- Great car! Show us the interior.
What you would do with a piggy back, is remove it since it's a plug and play. Then get a flash reader to clear all codes; they're about $100.

PRS 7 is infamous around these parts
While they have not released any more info in quite awhile now, Racing Dynamics has "said" their treatment will result in 620hp. You can visit their site but it still fails to load the info on the listed as available stages/kits.

Give them a call?

Their stuff has never been cheap but I personally respect their years of BMW involvement.

edit: Here is an order number I found. How far it get's you I do not know. g/l
Order number 142 63 10 440 B
