Hey guys... Im back after a few years. Im coming from an 08 M5 and 06 Gallardo and was wondering how the 550 compares to the M5 for those of you who have driven both? Im contemplating on ordering a 2011 550i with M-package and in Mineral White (like on the new M3 color options) but still need the power of the M5. My dealer is also an authorized DINAN dealer so for a $3000 software update I can have 497 hp and 557 tq. Any input would be much appreciated...

Although I personally dont have the software (550i M sport on order), several on BMW forum say software works great...awesome power all thru rpm band and car pulls hard. Plan on getting it after about 3-4 months of driving car stock.

 

any performance numbers? 0-60 with software.
