Good race, but those aren't very good numbers for a tuned X5M. Stock runs 12.5-7@110-112 with launch control and 11.95@116 with the ESS tune on a regular (not traction-enhanced) road. I'm sure the Dinan tune would post similar numbers. Running 12.3@111 on a traction-aided surface is really not any better than stock...which is surprising since this thing is pretty easy to tune by just cranking up the boost.

12.5 @ 112 stock is not happening in Florida in 90 degree heat and high humidity.

The 12.8 @ 108.5 that Inside Line ran is more realistic.

If you have a 2012 X5M you know that traction enhanced surfaces make no difference with a stock X5M. Heavy, big tires, AWD and they don"t spin. VBox is the same no matter where you launch street or track as long as dry.

Since you're in South Florida, PM me when you head to the track. I would be very surprised if you go quicker than 12.70 @ 109 stock like the white 11 X5M did in the video.

ESS or ABC tuned X5M running 11.9 @ 116 on a "regular road" means it was not at a drag strip with official timing devices. Could have been downhill Haven't seen a video of a tune only X5M running in the 11s at a real drag strip yet. Keep in mind that the tune on the truck in the video was for 91 octane when it went picked up .4 and 3 mph and went 12.26 @ 111.9 from 12.70 @ 109. Real numbers.

If you take your X5M to PBIR within the next 2 months, I'll be happy to meet you there to get a few runs in.

I have done one launch control run, VBox timed, and it was mid-day in early August with temps in the 90s here in South Florida on a flat surface. I ran a 12.8@110.37. I can chirp my tires off the line, and this was confirmed by the VBox graph, which shows a dropoff in the acceleration once they start to slip. If I get a chance to meet you at PBIR for a track run I will let you know. I may get the ESS tune first to see how it compares with yours.
