Mods for the new E60 M5

OK guys, I need some help. My new M5 will be here in about 2 months. I need suggestions for wheels, tires, suspension etc. as I only know Porsche after market...new to BMW. I have heard H&R has a suspension kit. What else should I be considering. Also, any wheel photos?

I'd get Kiness F110.

You might want to join a BMW board as well....

for the e60 m5, i know that G-Power has some products out now, to 550hp claimed. their G-Power Styling III Pros wheels are extremely rare, and i think they look quite good. there are so many aftermarket bmw companies. hartge has some nice exterior mods already. it's rumored that Koro (engine builder of the famous big-bore 996 GT3s) will work on the S82 motor to "600hp". kelleners-sport is a great company, which has gained much acclaim in the past few years (their e39 m5 exhaust sounded the BEST), and they do great with other engine mods as well. i don't think that moton or ohlins will come out with dampers or ones that are readily available/easily obtainable to the public market, though dinan has started to use JRZ shocks. as far as suspension, AC-Schnitzer's DFC adjustable suspension was supposed to be the best on the e39 m5, so i hope they make one for the e60 m5 (though ACS doesn't do much other performance stuff). kelleners, g-power, racing dyanmics (RDsport) are ones to look out for. i'm not too partial to hamann, but i'm sure they'll have some extreme programs. i think that japanese tuner redhot DIXIS will release some titanium stuff, as they did titanium exhaust for e39 m5. eisenmann and supersprint also make great exhausts for e39 m5 in the past, i think they will do for e60 as well.

Thanks for the feedback. I have checked into a few of the sources and will be checking further. It appears that Hartge is the furthest along with the E60 to date.

why would you want to go and put HRE wheels onto the M5 when you want lightweight wheels?

BBS Motorsport rims would look killer on the car.

go to www.m5board.com and check out the e60 board, someone has jsut lowerd their m5 with some pics, looks good.

I won't do HRE's again. Heavy jewlery IMO. How about the Kinesis F110's vs the BBS RS-GT's in 20"?
