Looking to get a 2008 m5

I'm looking for an m5. Anything I should watch out for in the 2008 model? The car I'm looking is SMG with an aftermarket exhaust and 69k miles. Should I be worried about the clutch at that mileage?

The SMG pump will at some point need to be replaced from what i'm told AND its a major repair when/If it fails.

As "big" mentioned, the m5board is a great resource. The 2008 had SMG II, if I'm not mistaken, which was a big improvement over the first version. However, it's still not so good, has long-term issues and is incredibly expensive to repair.

BMWs are expensive to maintain, M cars even more so with the M5 being the most expensive and if you add SMG to that then you have the absolute peak, top, extreme example of an expensive-to-maintain BMW.

There's a good reason why these cars depreciate so rapidly.
