Hesitation in Transfer case of Transmission after wheel change
Hesitation in Transfer case of Transmission after wheel change
I have a 2007 e70 4.8i with sport suspension. Have factory sport rim/tires 255/50/19. They are style 211 rims. I switched to the optional rims style 214 which are staggered 275/40/20 front and 315/35/20 rear. As soon as I switched to these rims which I thought were optional for my car (4.8i with Sport) I had a hesitation which occurred mostly in 2nd gear and was fine gears 4-6. This usually happens when car is warm, When cold it appears to have no shifting issues and about 10 min later it starts. This hesitation is under RPM and occurs during the gear acceleration, the shift to next gear is fine. This has gone on for 2 months, switched back to original rims and no hesitation. Any ideas?? It almost appears adaptive drive needs to know something, Is there any coding, or adjustments needed when switching rims? Are these tires really an option for my car? My last seven vin is LZ42221.
Thank you so much
