Drove a BMW M Roadster today

I drove a Black/Black 2006 BMW M Roadster today. All I have to say is, AMAZING! The sound of the exhaust is intoxicating. Everytime you touch the gas pedal, you just want to put your foot down more just to hear the exhaust scream! The car is so fast. It literally pushes your head into the seat. I was going 60 mph in 2nd gear!!! And 80 mph in 3rd! The car is so damn fast that I never had to take it into 4th gear, and I drove on the highway for a little bit. The one thing that really surprised me was that is handled so well, and it hugged the road. It is basically a Z4 with an M3 engine in it, so I was expecting a front heavy car to fish tail a lot. I was expecting the back to swing out a couple of times, but it never did. It handles really well on curves at high speeds. I have zero complaints about the car. It is absolutely perfect!! When you press the sport button on, oh god, hold on because it just explodes into a full on power house! Everything on this car is the best. This is a true sports car, and every car lover would have a huge smile after driving one of these. Heck, even as a passenger is it a fun car.

Chaapa'ai has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Glad to hear you had fun. The sport button is a joke.

Having had an M3 I wasn't very impressed with the M Roadster. It was nice but it didn't feel as connected or visceral as the M3 when in fact it should have been much better. I thought it should have been faster and the sport button isn't nearly as noticeable as in the M3.

The car I checked out 6 weeks ago is still there.

Not as pronounced as the M3. Although I swapped out the exhaust on my M3 I did not mind the rasp and in fact thought it was cool.

Yeah dittos, welcome, sorry if I got a little negative on the car, guess I'm just a little jaded. It was very nice and it did handle really really well, I just didn't think it was very communicative and I think it is pretty quick but it just doesn't feel that quick.
