Don't forget to check out the frame! A lot of Z8's have twisting issues in the front shock tower mounting areas. Below is just one article on the subject. A google search will yield a ton of other write-ups as well. Good luck!

Go for a normal Z8... The Alpina is pretty, but it's weak.

Just my opinion.

Exactly, that rear-subframe/upper-rear shock mount issue would be enough to make me never want one.

thanks a lot guys Im so turned off now. dont like it anymore will just stick with my p cars .......saw one last week sil with red and I was stunned. never knew it was that bad. no wonder they dont sell

My friend has a regular Z8 and I really was not impressed with it. I guess I always thought it was more of a sports car then it really is - thus the dissappointment. It would be a nice boulevard cruiser. Just my 2 cents.

my friend had one a while back. He never really drove the thing, he regrets buying it. It was traded in on a 355 spider last year. black on red is absolutely stunning though...

I love the look of the Alpina Z8 however I would much rather have the reg Z8 more hp and a 6-speed
