Drove the 335 coupe today!

I went to drive the 335 coupe today.. All I can say is , it;s a very capable car, it could've been faster if it was lighter.. Steering feel is so great,
Love the ride and the leg room. The paddle shifter is weird, push to downshift then pull to upshift..LOL An ecu flash will turn this car
in to a beast for sure.. BUt handling wise, power, I love it no complains..

btw dont buy this demo, Kirby drove it crazy

I was looking for it in Newport today, didn't see it
Sat in the new M Z4 though, that steering wheel is amazing.

It was just a demo car... the cars will be arriving on the 15th.
msrp on this one was $46,000.

Has bluetooth , run flat, auto transmission, privacy glass.. So manual base should be around $42K, i'm sure they will be msrp, for a little bit

Did I drive it that hard? hahaah, didn't quite hit the redline, but almost...and we didn't get sideways.

Felt Big and Heavy, but we had 3 people in the car and JUST finished lunch at Claim Jumpers...lots of food.

i got to drive the 328i as the 335i was not available. I need to stop by the dealership today or tomorrow. Looks like a nice car. You found the 335i to be not fast enuff? i thought it does 0-60 in 5.1 seconds and is suppose to be in par with the e46 m3 or a hair below. yes, the tuners are gonna have a blast with this car. I can't wait to see what they will have in store soon.

Not in the M3's, Egear in the Lambo's, F1 in Ferrari's and so on. Its pull up left lever for downshift and pull up right for upshift!

Correct the 360/430 and Lambos are left and right and the M3 is that currently..but all the new BMW 2007 like my 550 are left and right paddle do them same push to downshift, pull to upshift actually makes sense and sometimes you need the other hand for cellphone/coffee cup! hahaha

Congrats Raja, sounds like a great color combo!
Do you know if the M-Tech kit is out for the E92 yet, any pics of that?

A couple different dyno runs for the 335 have been reported, and the results are impressive. In both cases, max HP was about 275 and max torque was around 300 lb ft, on dynojets. Nicey nice.

i drove it too. compared to my M3...335i has lots more torque. that i liked a lot. and interior, handling..typical BMW goodness.

but its got no LSD (i think?). i couldnt downgrade from M3. but it made me think about it for a while.
