BMW just released info and pics of the new M5...

"BMW issued two photographs on its Concept M5, one of the highlights of their stand at the Geneva Motor Show.

The agressive looking prototype previews the M5 scheduled to be introduced this Fall.

The Concept M5 is powered by a 5.0 liter V10-engine, capable of about 500 bhp and it is coupled with an SMG gearbox."





I think it looks amazing!! It will be one fast four door, probobly faster than a E55, plus no supercharger.

Oooops.... I thought this was new info.

I knew this would be kicked to the M forums, where there are only 5 threads and no one looks at it.

 

Please tell me a standard manual will be available. SMG sucks, may as well be Auto. I think the Audi DSG system is supposed to be much better. When is Audi going to incorporate the technology into its street cars. I think it is only on their racer.

standard manual will definately be availible. 6 speed manual, and then there will be a 7-speed auto and SMG. and, funny how they don't show a view from the rear..

OMG, its a powerful engine of course, but the design is horrible, the whole 5 series has been destroyed by this new look, and now the M5, NOOOOO!!!!! Does anyone else agree that the new look is not an improvement from the past 5 series?
