Just drove the new 335I cabriolet.

I had already driven the sedan and coupe and was waiting to see how the top actually worked and if there would be any creaking or noise with the top.

Car was a bright blue with a light beige interior, not my choice but I was there to drive. Had premium and sports package, auto trans. Sticker was 56K. BTW plastic fenders!

It was a blast to drive! Tranny shifted great and car handled superbly. There was a little wind noise however top was solid, no creaking.

However the car loaded approches 60K.....obviously towards the high side for a 3 series.

yeah. damn that is a lot for a 3 series conv.
another alternative is the volvo hard top that starts at 40k and is nice too.

but not the same prestige as the bmw...
