In a not trying to be a total ******* kind of way, all of your shots are blurry. What gives? Is it your photo hosting site or did you just resize them to the point that they lost resolution?

Cross the bridge, and take the first exit and head left. Wind up that road a bit and you will find a much nicer spot with similar effect - Bridge, water, and downtown in the background. Plus it's open so no trees up close or other inhibitors. But nice car!!

Sample:

My buddy's cars (same friend, switched cars). First one isn't quite in the right spot, and second one is night. I lost the other pictures, but you get the idea.

yeah, i know the headlands quite well: my parents live in mill valley. i just didn't get a chance to take a good shots up there, but definitely intend to once i move back for the summer!

as for the question of why the pix are blurry, well, a couple reasons: (1) i'm only using a little SD600 and (2) i stupidly re-sized the pix twice because i made a mistake and couldn't be bothered to re-do them all lol.

HOWEVER: my Canon XT arrives in the mail in a few days, although I've been warned that the 50 mm f/1.8 lens i got will NOT be good for car/scenery pix, and that it should really be used only for portaits

It's the resizing, not the camera. The SD600's resolution is more than adequate for web images. I use a simple little program called Resize by a company called Superpixel on my Mac.

There are a lot of nice spots by the golden gate bridge, but a little far for me to go there often.
I was just at Mill Valley the other day to eat at a restaurant called El Paseo. Highly recommend it.

You should give it a try if you’re around there. It’s a good burger joint.
My Aunt and her husband started the business 10ish years ago. There is 3 locations around the campus and trust me it’s worth a try.
