740iL or 745Li/750Li?

 

Arent the new ones just 750Li

 

On the bmw site USA there isn`t a 740li but I have seen some at ebay.com located in the USA! Is it brand new in the USA with the 4l enigne?

 

where have you bums been? The only current BMW 7 series models are the 750 and 760 i/li. The 740 i/il and 750i/il (former v12 model number) are the previous generation 7 series. 1995-2001 I believe was their production run.

 

Ok I think he is getting the old model! He has written il and that is by the old models! Li is by the new ones.

There are alot 7-series eninge. like an 740 or 745d or 730d. I think you mean the 750 and the 760 are the onliest both eninge for the 7-series in the USA.

 

Right in the USA we only have the 750 and 760, the 750 was introduced in 2006. We previously had the 745.

 

Yeah! But I was thinking he will be get the new model and was looking by ebay, yesterday there was a seller who must sell it fast and it was a 740! I think it was a import or it was a mistake from him, 4 for a 5! I whish you a nice sunday evening..

 

hahha. yeah it's 01. i just needed a car for the next three months til the 08 arrive. it is still being detailed as i need pretty much reconditioning done before i start driving it.

The 2001 740i sport was one of my favorite cars of that era. My fam had a 2001 silver/black 740i and it was amazing. I wish we still had it.

740i is an awesome car - better get the Strong strut bar that improves handling.
