i will wait to see what the US magazines will say. me and the british magazines almost always disagree...

edit: those 18" rims on the m3 just look plain small.

to me the fact that the steering feel is numb ruins the whole package... that's what driving is suppose to be all about.... steering feel... and the suspension feel and gearbox comments as welll? hmmm

lets see what the other mags say.... Motortrend has one of the best analysis and opinions (IMHO) ever.... what would be sweet is a retractable hardtop M3 !!!

These Audi vs BMW pissing contests on the forums are so lame. Its useless bickering about two great cars and too many owners are "Brand X For Life!!!!' types. Some of these guys must seriously have their car badge tattooed on their asses.

thats all.

I honestly prefer the BMW for it's RWD ( I'm a RWD fanatic ) and even it terms of looks I think I'd always choose the M3 against the Audi.
Anyway the perfect car would be the one with BMW esterior look and power and RS4 interiors

thats correct! im interested to see what the US mags have to say about this rivalry...especially when one of them is drastically different (in terms of weight) once it hits our shores.

Same day, same conditions?

The E92 is going to be significantly faster than the E46 in a straight line, no doubt about it.

I've haven't driven an RS4, but if it drives like previous "S" models, i'll take the M3 without even driving it...
