I'm waiting for it to come out, so I can decide on a daily. Now I'm torn between Cooper S and 135i. It's weird, because from what I've heard, the 135i would only be slightly lighter than the 335i, but apparently with the same engine.

Basically, from what I've seen so far, I like it!

I don't care for the looks of the car at all. To me, it looks like a shoe. I think the 3 series is small enough, anything smaller is overkill. As far as performance goes, I think it will be a great car. It weighs less than the E92 335 and has the same engine.

Too heavy for the size. I was considering switching over if it was 300# lighter, but it looks like it will only be 75-100# lighter. What a joke!

Not many cars at this size are lighter... At least not many german ones.

The 130i is a sweet car but it's expensive for what it is.

Ugly.

I'll be mad if the 3 series price jumps to make room for this in MY08.

Not a fan.

The 3 series is small enough. BMW was doing fine- I don't understand why they're trying all of this new stuff...

I lived in Spain for 6 months, and fell in love with the 1 series hatch in black. Does anyone know what MSRP on a 135 will be? I just hope BMW doesnt overshoot the target market on this one.

Hatch is not coming to the US. Only the coupe.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt the 135 going to be around 3200lbs, and the 335 is around 3500lbs??

While I'm not crazy about the looks, I think it would make a great daily/commuter car. 3200lbs, RWD, 400+ hp (modded)....

They just don't look right. If you don't like M-Coupes then you probably don't like these cars.

Reasons like this is why I'm trying to disassociate with BMW all together and upgrade my Hellrot to Guards Red.
