yup...almost 90 less horsepower at the wheels than stock sure is impressive numbers....granted its a Mustang Dyno, but you guys didn't even take it to 8k...?

Just noticed AFR looks awesome as well..7.5:1...should get through a tank of gas a lot quicker now!

First of all, there was no AFR hooked up. Nor does it show on the dyno graph except the default numbers. We dont bother hooking up the wideband on these tests.

Second, dyno any M3 on any real dyno and they all make around 225 to 240 at the wheels. We have dyno'd many. If you want horsepower, get forced induction... oh wait we probably dont know what we are doing there either. Or you could just check out the Stage 1 AA kit we did on a customers M3 here - http://www.myvividracing.com/gallery...p?c=189&userid=

Before you have another class of hatorade, all that matters is the delta, that would be the before and after numbers that the flash added. Thanks for the post.

how come the dyno stops ~7300 rpm instead of 8000?

btw all of AA's dyno's are on a mustang and all are around 270whp. maybe yours needs to be recalibrated?

Wideband is really necessary is here to see what the generic chip is doing...

So what you're saying is the car is only losing 20whp with the chip? Sounds like a bargain now!

I agree with you here...but there are some very odd things on this graph...what gear was used for this pull? Why didn't you take it to actual redline? No AFR? What was the ambient temp and humidity out?

He stopped the test early. Wideband is not necessary, we are not physically tuning, just doing the flash loading. Dyno is calibrated dead on actually. We used to have it turned on higher, but was incorrect. Not sure what AA settings are, and really dont care, cause it DOES NOT MATTER as the important thing is the difference. You can see by the before and after that it continually makes an equal gain and it would all the way across the board if it was taken the extra 1000 or so RPM. 4th gear. We are in AZ, even with an enclosed room, as soon as you lift the door, probably around 85-90 degrees.

Since you guys all own dyno's and must be superior specialists, i will go ahead and bow out letting you have the glory.

Look calm down...there are some glaring issues with your graph but you are right...a dyno should only be used for comparison as that is its only true purpose, not total horsepower. Unforunately, the delta in whp and w-ft/lb are negilible and probably wouldn't even be felt in real world situation. I've delt with Upsolute and their sub-par generic tunes in the Volvo world for years...consider me jaded...

You need to do a run up to 8k RPM's and edit this post.

Look at your power curve, it's not even flat lining yet.

You're going to get eaten alive if you advertise this software and promise 30 less WHP than to be expected from a stock m3 without your tuning.
