Kelleners BMW M3 3.4 Motor Upgrade?

Has anyone done the K sport motorkit upgrade.
it consists of

K.sport Motorkit KS M 3/46-3.4(increase to 3,4 Liter)
performance extra approx. 44 kW (60 PS),compression 12:1,modification: 2 x camshaft, catalisers,rearsilencer, modified ecu( max. 8200 rpm.),Airbox,pistons(150 grams per piece lighter),connecting rods(100 grams per piece lighter),exchange crankshaft,fitting

It supposedly puts out 301KW which translates to 403RWHP and 322lbs of torque, which is pretty damn impressive for 3.4 Liter NA engine. That's GT3 territory.

I am guessing the price tag to be in excess of 10k Euros.

Those are some very impressive numbers! I would love to see some performance figures of an M3 equipped with this package.

Great find. Thanks for sharing.

wow...very impressive! too bad its prob still not as fast as a GT3. plus its prob 15-20K US dollars when everything is all done. rather have a 996 or 997 GT3. still cool tho, just not worth it.

BHS ran against a supercharged M3 and got spanked pretty bad. I still prefer NA over FI.......... on the M at least.

i believe that s/c M3 was Scott's (divextreme) and his e46 M3 was one of the fastest in the country at the time, so the BHS didnt fair too well - 9k redline is awesome though, n/a over FI is a nice touch, but nothing can touch a properly tuned FI and after experiencing 2 s/c's and 2 turbos in my last 3 cars... i really really like the FI way

You are correct sir, it was Divextreme car, I was unsure as to the extent of his mods, I figured it was just another supercharger putting out around 450+ hp.

I think the owner of the BHS M3 spent close to 30k modifying that NA M3. It was on ebay couple months back. Supposedly he only ran 100+ octane gas and had a 55 gallon barrel in his garage.

The car dynoed at 405rwhp and 230lbs of torque if I am not mistaken.

yea scotts car was a monster (we were both on the M3Forum at the same time, so i was able to see the progression of his car) he had basically every bolt on application available for that car and then some - ran a 12.1 i believe at the fastest time, and i think the BHS car was his brothers and he tore it down in that vid

30k for that bhs... wow - prob round what scott spent on his m3 - that 55 gallon thing is pretty funny actually, with the way i drive i wouldve gone through that barrel in less then 2 weeks... ha

Those numbers are WAY to low for a rebuilt engine! Does anybody have a link to the car?

I am leaning on going for the rebuild as opposed to FI due to trackability (the Ring)
