Hi All,
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I've been lurking for a bit and really appreciate how helpful you all are to folks, like me, who are new to the P family. I recently bought an '05 Boxster S and I absolutely love it. Love how it drives, the luxurious interior, etc. I'll be searching for more power (yeah, I know ... we're all greedy that way), but I do not want to change anything about how the car rides or looks because it's my daily driver. Any suggestions are welcome! I'm in the neighborhood of Speed Gallery and TRE, so I'll likely use them for any upgrades. Budget's probably around $8K-$10K for any improvements. Thanks again for all your help - I've really enjoyed my education from you all!

Welcome to the 6!
I can believe it's awesome to share the passion you have for Porsches with other owners...I personally don't own a Porsche considering I'm only 20 but the passion I have is probably as high as the one an owner could have.
Nice to hear your words

Do you know the guys at The Speed Gallery? If not, let's hook up and I'll introduce you.

Thanks ... hey, I grew up in Woodland Hills, even went to ECR. Looking forward to getting to know you and appreciate the intro. Can't PM yet 'cause my posts are too few, but I'll work on that unless you want to PM me with contact info.

Thanks, all, for the nice welcome!!

g3mt, yes it is that color. I'm in the process of getting everything fixed that needed fixing. Latest thing I noticed is that the headlights seem to adjust up when I accelerate and then immediately adjust down when I shift. Is this normal?

I wouldn't change anything while it's still under warranty, except interior mods. Enjoy the car for what it,that's a heck of a car.

8K - 10k is a lot a room for go-fast mods. Since its still under warantee, just make the most of it!

Jex,
I remember reading something in the manual about litronic. Not sure if you have that. i wonder if you have to adjust the beam.

Yes, I do have the litronic lights. Car's at the dealer today for the light issue. They're replacing the Central Control Unit. I've had the DTs all day today like a drying out heroin addict ... man I need that car back!
