Cool. I think Work makes some really nice wheels. Almost ordered some Brombachers in black but decided the Aeros would highlight the PCCBs a little better.

Hey guys, found a set I really like.

Front is 18x8 (48 offset)
Rear is 18x10 (40 offset)

Offsets are good?

Where did you find the set of wheels and do you have pics? I'm trying to find new wheels for my Boxster as well but it seems like everything is in 996 spec offsets for the rear......ugh.

I deal with a shop in Florida (Wheelautohaus) and actually got some options from someone on this site.

How did you keep the tires from rubbing on the fender? I'm not a fan of lip, but your ride looks great.

They were tight, but no rubbing issues. The car was also lowered with Eibach springs wich added a little cambers to help out. If you think thats tight check out my 914-6!

Nice! I wish I hadn't sold my 6. The reason I was asking about rubbing is I've got 10.5 inch rims in the back and I had to go to coilovers to get enough camber to clear the 295's (even with fender lip rolling).

Those are nice!
How was the quality on them?
Definitely satisfy the deep lip requirement.
We may have a winner.

They are great wheels, I like them enough to put them on my 987, and I am not one to keep something I have run on a different car, out with the old in with the new. I actually like them well enough I am getting a set of ruger R5's in 22" for my 08 Touareg! On the 986, 9 1/2" on the rear of a 986 was close, but it also deppends on the offsets, you might be able to get the right 10 1/2 with out any problems. On the 987, there is all kinds of room and a 10 1/2" would have been no problem.

^Didn't know there was that much more space in the rear wheel well on the 987.

It definitely depends on how low you go. Camber has some impact, but really the top is fixed, and you are pushing the bottom out (which happens when you lower it as well). Unless you go too low, you should be able to run 285s and narrow-ish 295s on 10" rears. Running coilovers generally exacerbates the problem because the springs/perches interfere with the wheels. There is not much room in the back of a 986. Bro has the only successful install of 10.5" rears I've ever run across, and he went through a lot of grief and had to do a trick to fit the spring perches. I have Champion RG5s (forged) on stock struts which have some lip. Very light also, but not as light as the TE37s. Not sure if the RG5s are still in production in 986 sizes either.
