i need a few things taken care of on my car that i havent been able to get around to asking... please post any help you can! i know its kind of a long post, but i really need the help because the local dealerships are not very knowledgeable

by the way, i have an '05 boxster

1) WINDSHIELD WIPERS - where do you get them, what brand, what exact size? i have tried 3 of the ones that the stupid computers at pepboys/autozone/etc. and none have fit and had to return them all.

2) OIL - the dealership has told me to put in 9.5 quarts, which i did for the first oil change since having the car, but the 2nd and 3rd times, i only put 8.5 because my car was showing oil being at max with just 8.5 instead. what do you all put? and also, i use 0w40, just curious what weight you all use

3) AUTO POWER SHUTOFF - i have a Sirius satellite portable radio that plugs into the mounted unit which is powered by the cig lighter outlet. my a4 had this same issue where i'd have to manually turn off the radio when i would turn the car off... is there a way i can "program" the car to disable all electronics or something so that the outlet only has power when the key is in the ignition, and when its removed, power gets cut off?

4) TIRES - I'm currently running Michelin PS2's, 235 front, 265 rear. i dont drive like a maniac and i need new rears after about 15K miles already. i understand they are performance tires and have low tread life, but 15K is just ridiculous. its even wear across the whole tread, so my camber is fine. what tires do you all recommend OTHER than PS2s? and also, where do you buy from, how much do they cost? ALSO, do any of you run spacers, and if so, what brand/size do you recommend?

5) MARYLAND BODY SHOPS - some idiot at my work decided to back into the side of my car, wipe the area to i guess check for damage, and leave without leaving a note, leaving me with the bill to cover repairs. i live in the baltimore, md area, any recommendation? its not major damage, but still need a body shop to take care of it

Porsche service center- 50$ (i think)

i put 9quarts of 0w40

spacers= need clearence/ the look, i run with ps2's

For Michelins 15k is about right. Fronts should last 2 sets of rears.

yea, see thats where the problem is. tire rack comes up with a lot of tires that fit, but i'd much rather ask people who have actually used sets before me buying them.

ok atleast i dont feel so bad about 15K. the thing about ps2's is tire rack (and tire rack wholesale) are both backordered for 265/40/18. i've heard of people using toyo, and my cousin has been pressing pirelli pzero nero's (which i cant find in my size), but thought guys wiuth the same car would know best.
