What specifically were you looking for....GTG's, track days, tech days?

 

All of the above would be nice! I mean there's a lot of porsche drivers here, but i don't think many are real " enthusiasts ". Most are like the people who get Hummers because of their 60k + price tags not the off road capabilities.

Agreed. The Gatorun would be a great way to meet fellow Porsche and other exotic enthusiasts. And due to the nature of that event, these folks tend to be the type who really "drive" their cars, not just own them because of the pricetage as you say.

There's also lots of NASA and PCA track days at the various South Florida tracks. You should consider checking their calendars and stopping by one of the events. They're free to attend as a spectator. I think you'll find that to be the best possible place to meet like minded enthusiasts.

Last weekend PBOC was at Homestead. The week before NASA was at Homestead and PCA had an auto-x at the Bank Atlantic Center. Where were you?

 

Whoa there. I knew about the auto x event , but my car is is in the shop getting the rear bumper fixed.

 

If your car is ready, stop by the Eurostage GTG in Aventura the first Sunday of the month. There should be a flyer up soon.

It's in front of the Colonial Bank on Biscayne around 191st Street. Starts around 9am. The Gatorun guys should be there too.
