Minneapolis Porsche Repair
Minneapolis Porsche Repair
I am looking for good Porsche repair in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. I used to live in another part of the country where I could find many import repair garages and they would charge half what the dealer charged and did a great job. The Porsche Dealer here does a good job but the prices are expensive compared to what I could get from a non-Porsche repair shop before. However, I've only found one other place that will work on Porsche's and that Leighton's garage and they charge more than the Porsche dealer. I called over 20 places and most won't touch a Porsche. Can anybody help or refer a place around the Twin Cities?
I need a place I can turn to to save some money on my Boxster repairs. Everytime I bring it in its $600-$1000 to get a repair and most are not big issues, I feel I could save some money with another garage.
An oil change seems reasonable, $150 but I also need my brake fluid replaced b/c its been 2 years and they want to charge $150. I believe I could get it done for much less elsewhere. Any thoughts?

Joe does most the maintenance on my Boxster S and my 911 SC prior to that.
I've used Carousel (dealer) on occasion. Fact is there aren't a lot of indy shops with water-cooled experience, particularly the Boxster.
If you're on the East side of town, you can check with AutoEdge.
