Hurricane Region (PCA) BBQ Run
Thought you guys might appreciate a few pictures from our run today. We had a really good turnout. We ended up driving from North Raleigh most of the way to VIR using all back roads (~120 miles). This was my first outing with this group and I really enjoyed it. Great bunch of people. We ended up back at one of the members house who had his favorite barbecue catered, hence the name. If you are in the Raleigh-Durham area, you should consider participating...what a hoot!
Enjoy...

How often do you guys meet ? I work every weekend, but sometimes I take time off and would be available. I think it would be fun to get together with other Porsche owners to talk about various P-car topics. Glad you had a good time.
Here's the Hurricane Region calendar:

They meet most every Saturday at an outdoor cafe in North Raleigh. As I said, this was my first PCA event with this group. While out driving, it was pretty cool to see a long "train" of Porsche's. It is fun to meet with other Porsche owners. Many are into tracking and autocross. There were some interesting stories...

Thanks for the link ! Are you a member of that region ? I didnt see any information on the website about fees to join. I've been wanting to join a PCA group and this region seems to be the closest to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
To join PCA:

Chances are, based on the fact that you live in VA, you'll be placed into a zone 2 region. Here you can see the zones:

There are several regions in zone 2. Even if you are placed into a different zone and region, you can still attend other region activities.
Hope this helps...
