D.C., MD & No. VA Meet & Greet

Anyone of the Washington DC, Northern Virginia, Maryland members want to get
together for a meet and greet? It would be nice to see some of the members cars
and meet some of the people behind some of the posts that we all have been reading.

Please pass this along to any of the other forums. The more the merrier!

Please let me know if there is any interest?

Cheers!
Paul

Paul,

I wouldn't mind a get together, there are a lot of local guys on absolutelydriven.com but those tend to be larger meets and more like a car show. I'm in Arlington, there are some other guys on here with pcars in the area. I'd love to check out that Cayenne, need to plan for when I have kids one day haha.

Thanks,
Jon Swift

Hey Jon

Sounds good! Depending on how many people want to participate
will dictate when, where and what we do. Spread the word to your friends
and hopefully we'll get a desent turnout. I'm thinking maybe mid August, but always open to suggestions....

Cheers!
Paul

I lived in MD for 15 years before moving to FL 3 years ago...would love to visit and experience the great roads up there - roads in FL suck.

PS - since I don't live there anymore I'd be willing to disclose my favorite "secret" roads in southern MD for excellent driving experiences...man I miss the roads up there.

Hey Bob

Not sure about southern MD, but in Montgomery Co/Frederick Co.
there are still some nice back country roads to go.

Let us know if you ever make it back up this way.
Cheers!

Roger that Paul! I agree, the roads northwest of DC and good ones as well. But if you make a road trip down RT301 through Charles County make a right on RT6 and take it all the way until it ends at the Potomac...you can then continue north and you'll wind up near Indian Head highway - outstanding drive! And I know a few others as well...
