I just picked up my new (used) Boxster. 2001,silver with sport suspension. Having a ball with it, but I was hearing some crunching sounds when I put the top up and down. I put the top up half way and started inspecting where the top folds into. I found this plastic grill part (see pic) there were 2 of them, one on each side of the convertible top just stuffed in there loose. Anyone know what the heck these are??

 

They fit in each side of the roll bar, and are designed to cut down the airflow. I do not use mine.
