I have a line on a set of Cayman sport seats. I called Suncoast Porsche and they told me they will fit my car {2002 996TT} without any adapter rails but there may be an issue with the wiring harness for the seat electrics. Anyone know anything about this or seat fitment problems?

 

This sounds right, my 996 GT3 seats were in my 996 and 997 with the same rails.

 

I believe 9x6 and 9x7 seats are direct bolt-on, if you use 9x7 seat on any 9x6, the side airbag on the seat itself will be useless.

 

I don't care about the seat airbag but the other controls need to work. Anyone know about this?
