My friend gave me these wheels and snow tires but they do not fit my 997. The fronts are 7x17ET55 with 225/50R17 Dunlop Wintersport M3s and the rears are 8.5x17ET50 with 255/40R17 Wintersport M3s. I am looking to post them for sale on eBay but want to be sure of what car they will fit. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

No thanks. I did find some part numbers on these that lead me to believe that they are for a 996. The fronts are 996.362.124.00 and the rears are 996.362.126.05. I don't know if they will also fit a Boxster.

 

Sorry, I have a 2000 986 Boxster S and I use these as my track wheels.

 

they look like the stock turbo twists that come on 996's as the above posted said. they look identical to the stock wheels that came on our '99 996. i believe you can use them on your boxster if you have spacers and/or longer lug bolts. we switch our after market wheels on our 986 and 996 just for different looks

 

Remember that the front end of the 986 shares the majority of its parts from the 996. Many times the first 3 numbers are the only direct correlation unless it’s an early 996 base c2.

Doesn't matter what the first 3 numbers are. Boxsters probably have more 996 parts than 986 parts in them due to parts-sharing. These cars have 996, 993, 964, and even 928 parts in them. Those are Boxster wheels. The 996 wheels are 9" rear ET55.
