Probably the same robot at the Porsche factory that paints all of them body color AFAIK, that's standard on all Caymans exception for the Design Edition.

You'll get more than that with the fronts, but that's probably about right for the rears. I got about 9K from the rears, with three track days, still driving the fronts with 12K, and should have at least 5K street miles left.

Love the sand beige interior. Looks great with red. I don't know why everyone loves black. Way too hot and you visually loose a lot of shape and depth.

Her are a few more pics. I have about 1200 miles on now and things are going swimmingly. After I break it in completely I plan to do some roll ons against my 335i to see how they stack up . Both cars have their strengths

I was at a Porsche Show the other day. Here are a couple cool cars- 89 slant nose turbo and a 97 911 turbo.

Mod number 1 - remove that front license plate. Unless you are getting paid for it why advertise your dealership while ruining the beautiful lines of the car. If the dealer drilled holes in your bumper cover fill them with bumper plugs from bumperplugs.com

I should get my plates in a few days so I won't be advertising anymore. I think I will have a plate in the front (it's the law in MN) because I don't need to give a cop any more reason to pull me over. Thanks for the tip though

Very nice. Too bad about the license plate law. We're lucky in AZ and don't have to have them.

If you got a great deal and the dealership was proper and courteous with you, why not give them a little advertising? You got the car for 6k off sticker...great deal!
