My new carbon fiber front lip arrived today from the crew at RennSport-One (thanks guys!).

In short....Im blown away. The quality (both structurally and aesthetically) is simply amazing. The lip is solid carbon...not an overlay. When I got home from work I got right down to business....installing this bad-boy.
When I first received the lip and unpackaged it, I had concerns about fitment...thinking that if the fit was off by just a tad....it could be disastrous. Well...no such issues. It fit like a glove and installed in literally about 10 minutes...and that was going slow and cautiously. I think the picture (soon to be pictures) speaks for itself. Stay tuned for more pics!

Guess it depends how you drive. Im no stranger to low cars with front lips. Just gotta watch those driveways.

Tightt,
The car looks great. We have gotten a ton of positive feedback from the look as well as fitment on this application. We just finished up production on another two pieces and are ready to ship. Thanks again,

maneuvering driveway/entrances with a lowered/body kit car is definitely an art...that you learn very quickly after the first time you scrape that expensive body part.

I had a friend i let drive my car one time, he drove over a pothole in his driveway that was so deep ! it knocked my side skirt completely off the car!! I was sssooo pissed. it was in his damn driveway, he had to know it was there

haha, yea, its an art for sure... the first time I scraped my speedart lip, I was pretty pissed, my car have around 2.25 in ground clearance, all driveways take some time and skill to get up and down without major damage or scrape on the lip..

Ouch, hope your friend pay for a new side skirts

course not.

Renn, does this come in different materials? On the white Cay for example, i think it would look awesome painted, but it'd be a shame to paint over that beautiful CF...could someone get it in another material such as FG, or ABS?

We do offer the lip primed and ready for paint at a slightly lower cost. However, the part is still 100% carbon fiber.

if I may ask, what part of the process is left out when it's paint prep'd that makes it cheaper?
