Well I finally decided on a Lotus 255 cup. Heading down to VIR at the end of the month to pick it up and drive it for the weekend on the track. This car is just a blast to drive on the track. And it seems the overall cost to run it will be lower than some of the other cars I considered. As I am also contemplating the possibility of racing in the future, that fact that this car is set and ready to go is a bonus. After a few years and a bit more experience, I will probably look at a moving up to a GT3 a Roission, or possibly a track prepped Turbo cayman. Thanks for all the input and help.
