Airbag Light On

I just installed the AP SSK with linkage which meant I had to remove the center console.

When removing the center console, you have to unplug the Passenger Airbag.

I put everything back together and this is what I have:

How do I get rid of the Airbag light? Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately, you'll need to visit the dealer or find someone (and indy) w/ PST2 or PIWIS testing equipment to reset it for you. Durametric units can also reset the airbags in 9x6 series (maybe 9x7 series too but I'm not 100% certain).

Thanks for the heads up.

I've been driving the car with the airbag light on.

I'm thinking of just waiting till I need to bring the car to the dealer for a service and get it reset then.

Try disconnecting the battery for a few mins.. and reconnect. This happened to me before.. that did the trick to reset it.

Darn, I was hoping that would do the trick. How long did you leave the battery disconnected?

It was at least 30 minutes.

I reconnected the battery, PSM fault on, windows not rolling up automatically, started driving, about a mile down, it went away, but the airbag was still on. Grrrr...

I'll try again tomorrow and maybe leave it disconnected for an hour.

Disconnecting the battery will not reset the airbag light...
