I have a question. I had my car in for service the other day, and my wife has been interested in a boxster. The dealer has a new '03 boxster S with an MSRP of 56k, and is offering 9k off. Is this a good deal? Also, how big is the difference b/t the S and non S? Your help is most appreciated.

Excellent deal...if you push a little harder you could get another 1-2k off. The difference is there and is noticeable. An "S" for 45k is a fantastic deal...please list the options. Thanks

We ended up agreeing on 10,100k off MSRP which was 56,100. Car has PSM, heated seats, cruise, digital sound with windstop, and a couple other things. Wife is excited.

 

although i don't know the market on boxster, but 10,100 off on a 56,100 car... that's a lot!

It is supposed to be my wife's car, since I already have the TT and a Cooper S, but I am trying to figure out how I can argue that I need to drive it

i've been thinking a M3 with SMG though... means Cooper has to leave the fleet
