Currently on Michelin PS2's, but I've also had Sumitomo HTRZIII and I think they're great also... and half the price (or less)...

 

Replaced my Sumitomos (pretty good) with Yokohama S Drive at abut $120 each. Have only put 5M miles on them but still looking good and very stick. Well rated at tirerack.

 

How do you like the Yokos compared to the Sumitomos?

 

Definitely feel stickier but had been getting excessive wear on inside of rears due to bad control arms. Replace those and upgraded suspension to PSS9. The fronts look brand new. would still highly recommend.

 

Another vote for the Hankooks. I just put a set of 245/275s on my car after a blow out with my PS2s, and I couldn't be happier. There is less road noise and the ride seems smoother, although that is probably attributable to the taller sidewalls, newness of the tires, etc. Will give an update after I've put a few more miles on them.

+1...I put these on my BMW 335 DD and they are great !

 

This guy says Toyo T1R or even Proxes 4 all day.
everything else wears too quickly for me.
But I'm just a vw guy!
