front bumper/lip/front splitter for 986

Hi guys, I've an itch to get a new front bumper/lip/front splitter for my Boxster S. The problem is I don't know where to start. I saw Chaud's 986 and I like it very much. Is there anything else outthere that you guys can recommend? TIA!

I have not tried any of these myself but did a lot of research and found these to be very attractive in both price and quality

You ultimately need to make the decision what's best for you
Good Luck

I did a bit of search myself before and this is one of the better bumpers I have seen, http://www.rsbodykits.co.uk/home.php?cat=2487

Nice lines and doesn't look cheap. Too bad they don't make a front bumper.

I have that exact rear bumper on my vehicle . After researching virtually every one like, I found that the CSR was by far the highest (TUV certified) quality and most faithful execution of the GT3 design than any other brand. I purchased mine through FVD/Brombacher. They were great to deal with .
JD
p.s. By the way, CSR produces a whole line of aero kit parts for the 986, including front bumpers.

That bumper looks great on your car. Glad to hear the quality is also good. Is it fibreglass?

I'm leaning towards this rear bumper more than any others, but I'm not sure if it flows with the turbo front bumper (I posted above)?

There is another 997GT3 type front bumper I have seen in the 996 forum, like this

but with bigger side vents that extend closer to the headlights (if you know what I mean). I try to find a pic later.

Yes, the bumper is made from fiberglass. And I agree with you on the "turbo" look bumper. I"m not really a fan of that style for the 986. My vehicle has a Hamann front bumper and side skirts. Great pieces, but very expensive and they take quite a bit of time to get.

Yes I have seen your thread, the Hamann front end is very nice, but as you said, its also very expensive so probably not one of my options. I actually do like the clean look of the turbo front bumper but just not sure if it flows with the 997GT3 style rear bumper (if I was to go down this route).

If you like the look of the turbo style bumper, then you should check out this brand.

Not really a fan of Rieger's design, never was a fan of their products. Too ricy (in an Euro way).

Though do you have any recommendations for rear spoilers? I'm after something simple that matches the GT3 rear bumper.

Cheers

When you say rear spoiler, are you referring to a tail spoiler ? If, so, I think the the discreet one thats on my vehicle tastefully matches the GT3 rear bumper.

What kind of spoiler/wing is that?

I was thinking something along the lines of those, http://www.patritti.com/patrick_patr...r_GTpic.html#6
but obviously with 986 rear lights.
