You are the first to like the orange side markers so I will call you CRAZY!

I think you have to go all the way when it comes to upgrading the Exhaust and really feeling the difference .
I have the Remus Exhaust -pretty affordable and Fabspeed Catless headers -they are NICE ! and there was a big punch in performance gain -
but I also Have a Softronic Flash and Softronic Racing Plenum -a nice system that added smooth power and increased my HP -K&N air filter and De-snorked and my car feels like a mean machine now

I have a friend that just put on only the Fabspeed catless Headers and kept everything else stock .His dyno was quite high 20 HP to the wheels .you can see his dyno posts on planet9.net TOMASZ
so JUST the fabspeed Catless headers make a huge difference and his car sounds really nice as well. Also a lot of people have been installing the NHP headers for less the $900.00 they are the best bang for the buck .

Other options ,Just go with the capristo Exhaust and Headers and you are there .this system is the cream of the crop .has valve adjustments for the sound and is no doubt the best .If you ever need to sell it it holds it value when no other exhaust does .

Or, what I should have done !! Call Casey at TPC and add the TPC Turbo and your 1 and done at that point you have arrived at the ultimate bliss of the Cayman world . arriving late to the party has its advantages

Just picked up a very slightly used set of fabspeed headers with cats for cheap. I want to keep the cats for emissions purposes-just in case. Im going to dyno the car before and after the install. I will add exhaust pipes in a few months when the checking account has recovered from all of my recent purchases and then dyno again.

I added the K&N filter tonight.

Oh, and just for the hell of it i will do one dyno pull with the deflector plate in place and one without. I will do it with a fan blowing on the air intake for both pulls.

Please keep us posted on your impressions with the Fabspeed headers and stock exhaust.

Will do! They should be here late next week and perhaps i can find the time to run to the dyno before then. If not, it will only be a week or two max.

Have you seen any dyno results with just the headers with cats? I havent found any yet, but was told that i would pick up about 15 to the wheels from the new headers and then another 10 from the exhaust. I'm skeptical and i would not be doing this if i had not received a great deal on the headers.
I will most likely end up going with the borla exhaust in the future. I like the way it sounds with headers with cats. I do not like the fart can, honda tuner sound, no offense meant to those that enjoy that sound. No amount of horsepower would be worth that sound to me. I prefer my car sound more like a Ferrari, although that probably will not happen with this combo.

Tomasz was pretty outspoken towards his preference of this setup and his reasoning was of interest to me. He had some dynos over on Planet-9 but I believe they were from different days.

From the threads I've read and videos I've seen, the Borla is many people's favorite in terms of aggressive sound. Many have said, once they hear one they knew they had to have it. I've yet to hear any exhausts in person yet, so its tough to say.

With that being said, I'm interested in your dynos and impressions because I'd love a slightly more aggressive sound, but do not want anything obtrusive on my daily driver. Tomasz was reporting that similar gains were being found with headers + stock exhaust, as were aftermarket exhaust + stock headers....yet you can avoid any drone.

Again, none of this is personal experience...just regurgitating what I've read so far. One way or another, I need to replace these ugly stock tips!
