mystery shift kit

Can anyone tell me what shift kit this is? It is on my 05 boxster S. shifts are pretty short. sometimes it is hard to tell if i have fully engaged 3rd gear. Hopefully someone on the board knows who made this one and can let me know if it's inherent to this manufacturer or if maybe it is an installation issue.

from the white plastic bushings I would think that is an OEM Porsche shifter...

As for 3rd gear being engaged, I would think that your right cable (1-2, 3-4, 5-6 select) is a little off... Can't remember which way you need to go... either a little more cable in the sleeve, or a little less...

Steps are:
1) remove the console (to access the shift linkages)
2) DO NOT start the car w/ the electronic connections to the console detached (apparently it triggers dash lights that you need a Durametric to turn off)
3) mark the position of the silver cable where it enters the black spring loaded linkage sleeve... (so you can return the cable to the exact point you started at)
4) Compress the spring on the linkage, and move the cable in (or out) maybe 1/8 of an inch..
5) do some "dry runs" shifting to see if it feels better...
6) I kinda half put together the console and took it for a test drive...

Took me 2 times to get my shifter cables perfect when I installed my SSK...

sorry for the length of the post..

Hope this helps

JT

Krokodil is infamous around these parts
Appears to be the factory short shift kit (blue plastic).

Cheers,
