Personally I have not tried to jack my car using the the cross brace under the transmission (1st picture shown in that article). I've jacked my car up many times, just not that jack point. Anyone want to comment?

 

i use ramps. easier and safer

 

I can't get the car to back up on Rhino ramps - need much lower profile ramps. Jack and stands work.. but trying to figure out if I can jack up the entire rear end at once, or have to do it one side then another.

 

Race ramps from raceramps.com I think it is works well. Plus I bought a spin on filter adapter to use Napa Gold filters

 

The Maxjax is the best investment I have made in a tool to date. The Spyder was on the lift for 2 weeks while the rims were getting power coated. I have done oil changes, brakes, springs/shocks, TBE on all my other cars, son's car, son's friends cars etc....Highly recommend the Maxjax

Yes, lifts make life easier. I was about 1' min. to short for a full size lift. I could have cut my ceiling and boxed it out where the roof line would have gone, but decided on the mid rise Maxjax. It rises 48" and I use my roller seat and can get under the entire car. It clears my GD opener, no mods to the ceiling, best of both worlds.
