I have searched, but have not been able to find an answer to my question. I was thinking about desnorkeling my Cayman, but was wondering if anyone has simply drilled holes in, instead of removing the restrictive plastic piece.

 

I've never read of anyone going that route... and I've been trolling around here and planet9 for 2+ years on a daily basis..
