I saw this today on Autoblog. Only 17 people complained to get the NHTSA to get involved??

NHTSA investigating Lotus Elise for oil leaks

Perhaps everyone with blown motors or oiling issues can get together and contact the NHTSA as well.

Planet-9 is coordinating the effort if anyone has experienced this an would like to add their failures/problems to the list.
