will this bi-xenon projector fit?

Hi, noobie here. Thx for your help in advance!

This will not be an easy plug-n-play (pnp). I will have to cut/modify the reflector to fit this larger projector, then hide it with a shroud.

I'm going this route instead of a smaller pnp projector because I want the most controlled illumination possible.

I'll probably buy the kit from TRS http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...roducts_id=141 unless someone knows a better vendor.

Length of Projector

Height

Width

The reflector in a non-litronic 04 986 is about 5.5" tall. The projector that I'll looking at is 100mm (~4") tall. Sounds doable unless I'm missing something.

About 2 months ago, a 986 owner did a bi-xenon retrofit seen below. He didn't specify what kind of projector he used, but I'm assuming it was a smaller pnp. It looks nice and similar to the Mini H1 kit that TRS sells.

Any opinions would help before I pull the trigger and get out the hacksaw. thx

If you have tried to modify your headlights, what was your experience?
