I understand that I have an older (2006) model Porsche, but my navigation is questionable. Most of the time any destination I input doesn't exist.... Even locations that have been in the same place for years before my car was made! Do I need to just purchase an updated disk, or should I just buy a Garmin? Thanks.

Yes you should update the disks and see if that helps. What system does it have, Navteq?

 

So what did you figure out? My factory 1999.1 disc works fine - still.
