Put 10k into the GTR at the same time, and the results wouldn't be pretty.

 

Put $10k into the 458 and get an embossed head rest.

tires alone could even the score...

 

Just like the C&D handling test between the CR and GT3 where the GT3 kept its track spec tires.

Curious that the results of this test go from top to bottom based on each car's hp. What track was used for the test, and does it favor a higher HP setup?

 

The track was Laguana Seca

the Cayman R did not have ceramics or the tires the GTRS had

the Corvette Z07 stopped in 94 ft with ceramics from 60
the GTRS with ceramics stopped in 98 ft from 60

I do think with ceramics and same tire compound as the GTRS

the gap would have been bridged!
