Farnbacher Loles Cayman on Ebay?
There's a pretty stripped down 2006 Cayman S w/ an X51 swap by Farnbacher Loles on ebay. Anyone know the history of this guy?

To me Frankenstein implies some hack job done in your brother's barn. This car is the real deal. It's overpriced, but it's a very well sorted vehicle. I am sure Spencer *** at Speedsport can vouch for it since he likely helped put it together.

So what do you guys think this car IS worth? Keep in mind it's a 22000 mile car w/ 12000 on 3.8 and that the conversion and other stuff probably cost $50,000. I've been in contact w/ owner (CEO of a brand management consulting firm w/ MBA from Wharton) and he vouches for it and has not tracked it.

Sounds about right. There's an old formula that I use.
Take the cost of the mods. Subtract the labor required to install them. Divide the cost of the parts in half. That's how much value they add to the base price of the car.

I have the FarnbarcherLoles Cayman set up on my 997S and love everything about it. I'm the second owner and bought the car with 14K miles on the odometer; it now has about 32K miles. The X-51 engine was installed with about 10K on the clock. Haven't had any problem at all with the entire set up. Enjoy the car if you purchase it.
