So today was a lay around day doing nothing and again I looked at your pics which made me go on you tube and start watching videos.

Point is, it’s 3:50am, I can’t sleep because for some strange reason, I’ve got Porsche on the brain.

I’ve been tossing and turning all night and I have to go to work in 2 hours.

SO THANKS A LOT!

Hey, I was exactly like that for almost four months! Welcome to the world of Porsche obsession!
Your wait will be shorter, so you have nothing to complain about!

Glad to hear... I was starting to think I was being childish...LOL. I try not to think about it but invariably I'll end up watching videos or reading up on it.

Can't wait... in the meantime, I just keep checking yours out.

Beautiful Vehicle - love the color combination! Quick question - how do you like the digital third gauge in the cluster? Does it show engine oil temp and pressure? I always missed that feature on the Boxster compared to the 911.

The TFT display is pretty nifty, you can configure it to show pretty much what you like.

It shows the fuel gauge at the top and the time and outside temperature at the bottom.

The larger middle section has screens you can flick through: Vehicle info, Sport Chrono stop watch, G-meter, trip computer etc...

The vehicle info screen can show engine oil temp and pressure if you chose to. It has four rows which you can configure any way you want. The standard factory setting is water temp, oil temp and oil pressure. I kept that and added radio station as the fourth row. You have a few other coices too, e.g. voltage meter, just configure each row the way you want.

Has anyone heard about a removable hardtop for the 981? I would love to have a boxster with a removable hardtop option. I think the lines of the boxster looks so much better than the cayman but for me I wouldn't have the top down that much. It's just too hot or too cold where I live.

I hope they do. If so, I'll be getting one.

Wow- PERFECT

Very nice Boxster. Congrats! That's pretty close to how I configured it on the website-- I just added the darker color (greyish) wheels. I'm on my second Boxster (987.5) and I'm looking forward to driving the 981 when it's released here in the U.S.

PS My first Boxster had a hardtop and I loved it! I hope they make one for this one too, preferably with a nice transparent roof.

Congratulations....really beautiful

Congratulations. I love the white. My 981 is has been sitting in Brunswick, GA for two weeks. They won't release them stateside until June 30. I went a different route. S version in basalt black, with black top, black leather interior, and 20" Carerra S wheels painted basalt black. Manual transmission, full leather and just about every option. I can't wait. Your pictures are great. It is so nice to see other than the stock photos.
