You got me, looks very clean and is properly priced. Especially knowing it is a CPO transferable it should move.
The only thing that would lead me to believe it is not selling right away is the 981 just came out and people who don't already have or have had a Porsche probably expect the price to come down more for the older body style.
just my opinion.

Is it because you are calling it a Spyder? maybe people get turned off by the fact that it is not a sypder. I know if I see an add that is misleading i click off immediately.

It does look like it should sell quickly though, nice car. GLWS

+1 on the removing the Spyder.

I would remove "$26,500 firm". You don't have to lower your price but give people a hope of discount so they contact you.

ditto on Spyder. Price is pretty low, so I'm not sure what the issue is other than it's Minnesota. It would sell pretty quick here in SoCal. You should also make any caller aware that 07's have the newer 987s motors so they have an upgraded IMS which are not prone to the failure rates like the older Boxsters.

Nice Car, good luck!

I agree with the Spyder call out.
Considering he has only 5 post, I think he's not really asking and is more reaching out to get more eyes on his ad.

Auto trader only lets you choose the cars model,,,S or spyder,,,real generic not specific to Porsche! And NO not trying to get eyes on!!!Why is there always an Ahole on every forum???I'm sure at one time you only had 5 posts! My price is just about at KBB trade in,,,was just wondering why I've only had 1 call. Not my first classic/sports car that I've sold.Just a head scratcher seeing that it is a certified car???I will put that in the ad.CJ.

Calm down there buddy. You should have listed it as what it is, not what it's not. As it's been stated, it's misleading and a huge turn off for potential buyers. How long have you had it listed? I've noticed you haven't had it long... why are you selling so quick? I've sold plenty of cars on auto trader and from my experience it takes time and patience. BTW, nothing wrong with posting it multiple places to get more potential buyers eyes on it. Good luck with your sale!

Just another idea why it's not moving... In 2007 and 2008 Porsche flooded the market with cars... So much they had to drastically discount. Production was extremely cut back shortly after to create more demand. Evidence is clear of this on how many are for sale on Auto trader.

If I read this right, you bought the car on 3/12. People will question you why you sell the car so soon.

Change
"Certified with a transferable 2yr or 50m warranty from my purchase date 3/12"

to something like this
"Certified with a transferable warranty good until March 2014 or XXXX miles, which ever comes first."

(If 3/12 is the date that you bought the extent warranty only then you have to be clear about it.)

You should try advertising in the "Barbie Gazette"! I'm sure it would sell in a heart beat. Make sure you place the ad next the Murdered Out Prius for $85K

I'm just teasin'

Looks great, where is the car located? Also, I would re-shoot your glamour shot with the top down.

GLWS
