Central locking problem

Hi guys, my central locking is working intermittently and it has been diagnosed by my indi (via autologic) as a faulty drivers door central locking solenoid. They have quotes me £250 to repair. I can buy a replacement part from
eBay for £60, so how easy is this to replace? Taking of the interior door panel doesn't phase me but is the locking solenod then easy to access after this? I quite fancy having a go at this myself and have all the tools? Please advise! Aly
