SLATETT:

What type of increase in performance did you see when adding those upgrades? I doubt I'll do the software, but maybe down the road.

I would do some homework before changing out the plenum and doing an ECU flash on an R. It already has a tweaked intake and ECU over a non-R engine. Prob minimal gains for the $$.

I have PSE and I love it. But I would not call it super loud, if thats what you like.

The Spider wheels are the best Porsche has IMO. But I really think they should all be black on the R. Then, Im bias, since thats what I have.

Tubi on a 987.1 is totally different on a 987.2. DFI engines are WAY more quiet. I've listened to stock, PSE, remus, and tubi on spyder/Cayman R. Tubi wins easily as the best with little/no drone. We did an impromptu decible measurement and stock and PSE hit 88dB, remus 92dB, tubi 94db. I have a remus. Too quiet. Seems barely louder than stock at high rpm. Go tubi.

Before anything else, ditch the sport seats and get the sport buckets.

I wouldn't waste your money on plenum/flash. Performance gains are minimal with these cars. Certainly not worth the price, and not noticeable IMO.
