Boxster 987 Stereo Question?

I can not seem to play burned CDs in my 987S. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, how, if at all, did you make it work?

According to Porsche, all CDs should play regardless. Sometimes these things can not be explained.

I am able to play burned CDs in both in-dash and cd-changer. Maybe try switching CD brands? I dont know, seems strange.

Tried a reformat - no dice.

I reformatted all of the music from MP3 to regular CD Audio and burned a new CD. This still will not work.

Any thoughts?

The same CDs worked in my 03 986.

The CD's must be too thin. Many lower quality CD's mess up the laser's read and the CD will skip. Try thicker, more expensive CD's
