SRS/Airbag module removal/reset?

When I had my little shunt at Road Atlanta the airbags did not deploy but the seatbelt pre-tensioner did go off. I have had it rebuilt but the airbag warning light is on, and I'm told that the module has to be removed and reset. Evidently it is under the center dash/radio. Does anyone have any directions on getting it out? BTW the local dealer tried to reset it via OBDII but could not.

No one knows anything about this? Let me ask another way, has anyone ever removed the dash/console below the radio?

If an airbag (or any component (for the most part)) deploys, the control module must be replaced (or rebuilt)

Disconnecting any part of the SRS system and then reconnecting it may make the light go out but if it's deployed, it's a different story.

If you haven't found it yet, I'll check up on it when I get to work tomorrow. Send me an email reminding me. (I'll need year, model and engine)

HTH's,

Mark

EDIT: If you need the srs control module rebuilt, remind me of that also. I have a company in Canada that rebuilds them... not sure if they do Porsche though.
